WEEK #1
Who Are We Fooling - Brooke Fraser ft. Aqualung
Better or worse
But what else can we do?
And better or worse
I am tethered to you
If it’s not either of us
Tell me who are we fooling?

YEAP. Not only do I need to update my music library, I also want to magnetize myself with NEW things. :)
This is inspired by Ryan O’Connell’s Things You Need In Order To Stay Happy. Read here: http://thoughtcatalog.com/2012/things-you-need-in-order-to-stay-happy/ :)
“You need music you can fall in love with. Any spare moment I have, I’ll be up in the music blogs looking for that new song that’ll be like crack for my earbuds. I don’t know about you guys but when I find a new song to obsess over, I’m like pretty set for the next three days. I don’t need a flirty text message, a delicious meal, or an amazing night out. I’m pretty much set with my New Favorite Song.”
So, I sent a Facebook message to my high school crush telling him that I remembered him promising to give me one of the Narnia books but he never really did. It was unlikely of him because he was one of my closest friends and he kinda just left the school without really saying good bye. So anyway, I asked him what happened.
Oh GOD!
I’m so lame. I hope it makes him smile, though. :))
The thing is when we were younger, love was easy to grasp. Someone gives you a happy glance, it warms your heart and you call it love. Someone tells you your shoes are looking awesome, it uplifts your spirit, and you call it love. Someone gives you your sweetest first sincere kiss, your heart skips a beat or more, and you call it love.
Love is simple, really. But the more we grow up and experience it, we let heartaches and disappointments overpower it. Heck, even too much logic mix it all up.
I guess, just go and look around. Look around and find how people show their love in the simplest of ways.
I guess, just go and say it. Say it to the people who mean most to you. If you’re worrying that they don’t feel the same way, at least at one point someone had enough grit to be honest with them. It’s rare nowadays.
I guess, just go and show it.
P.S. Hey you. I haven’t had a popsicle since I don’t know when. I think I may have forgotten how good it actually tastes. Thanks for reminding me again last night. You made me smile.
- Charlie, Perks of Being a Wallflower
When a boy starts talking and become real around you, so suddenly you name him insensitive. Oh, especially when he starts being honest. Girls, tsktsk.
- Tadhana, Up Dharma Down

What kept me busy in the office today - invitation for the 1st birthday of my boss’s daughter. :)
